Neighbors helping Neighbors during times of need

As we all have come to know, there is a growing concern worldwide about the current COVID-19 pandemic. Organizations are facing challenges in all departments. While some operations have business contingency plans in place to ensure continuity of services, we also know, this is not always the case. Smaller organizations may not always have the depth of people to a back-up person for every role.

In the last week, we have been approached by some of our clients to ask us if we can be part of their contingency plan, and we have been asked what services we can help them with.

We have put together a business continuity offering that explains our services and how we can be of assistance. We also understand that there are a lot of people that are taking advantage of supply and demand, but we believe that this is the time that neighbors should be helping neighbors. With this in mind we have also decided to create a reduced pricing program for companies that may need our assistance in getting through this temporary crisis.

The questions you should ask yourself are:

  • What if you are part of a small team responsible for compliance, and one or more of your key members are out of the office unexpectedly?
  • Who will cover your job if you yourself aren’t feeling well?
  • As with all companies shipping and revenue are key to keeping the doors open – how might these activities be impacted by the virus?

Even though we understand that this situation is temporary, we understand how challenging times such as these are for all companies. We have done this in the past for other disasters such as the hurricane in Puerto Rico, malware attacks on our clients’ IT systems and political instability in some countries.

Planning is the key to success!!!!!

As such, we will be supporting our clients with enhanced offerings, which include:

  • Compliance audit of SDSs and labels – reducing the risk of fines or delayed shipments due to non-compliance.
  • SDS and label authoring – helping you to meet the needs of the business when creating new SDSs and labels for new or existing products.
  • Reduced price training for people needing to take on the responsibility of authoring and may not have the necessary experience.
  • Taking on board research on behalf of the client, where your key people are unable to add this to their workload.
  • Adding and editing SDSs and Labels, to ensure that they are compliant for the countries that you are shipping to.
  • Creating new SDSs for chemicals and products for purposes of shipping.
  • Regulatory consulting services as required, providing you with the information you need from reliable sources.
  • Sending SDSs on your behalf, upon request, when you are unable to do this yourselves due to workload.

These services are not only available to our current clients but also to any companies that need our help keeping their SDSs compliant during the current outbreak, so please feel free to pass this email on to anyone you know who may be navigating these challenges in their own business or department.

If you feel that you may benefit from a free no-obligation conversation with us, please email me at sharon@hazoxinc.com.

Remember, this is temporary and if we work together to help each other, we will all come through relatively unscathed.

I wish you all the best
