- Confirm that the headers and footers contain the correct information for the country you are shipping to.
- Confirm that every heading and subheading complies with regulatory requirements.
- Identify if section 1 contains the correct identification data for the country you are shipping to
- Assess whether the GHS classifications, symbols, signal word, hazard and precautionary statements are correct
- Confirm that section 3 includes the correct (and appropriate) chemical components
- Check that the first aid measures are suitable based on the product
- Check that the SDS contains fire extinguishing media and appropriate fire services emergency information
- Check that there are appropriate measures for spillages
- Make sure that the handling and storage information is suitable for the product
- Confirm that all the physical and chemical properties of the product are in the correct format and order
- Assess whether the toxicology and ecotoxicology data are being used correctly to classify the product for acute toxicity and aquatic hazards
- Check that the UN number for the product is appropriate for the product being shipped
- Prepare a detailed report of any irregularities, inconsistencies, missing and / or incorrect data that would deem the SDS or label as non-compliant.
